    Will Apex Work with AI navigating on a ship thats moving in game world runtime ?

    Thanks for your post.

    Apex Path is a uniform grid-based solution. So if I understand your use-case correctly, you want to have AIs pathfinding and moving intelligently on a ship that is also moving.

    Unfortunately, Apex Path grids cannot be moved at runtime, so such a setup would not be possible.

    However, theoretically you could reverse the setup – keep the ship stationary, which enables you to have a grid on the ship that AIs navigate on, and instead move the world relative to the ship. If this is not an option for you, then I’m afraid that Apex Path may not be the right fit for your use-case.

    It is unlikely that we will investigate the possibility of supporting runtime movement of grids, unfortunately.
