Great news, but what is it exactly?
Is it a behavior tree that will be like those that already exist but way better technically?
Is it a behavior tree with lots of specialized tasks for path and steer, because
if it is i can stop writing code right now.
Or will it be a bunch of functionalities like a tool bag with all the essential AI situation perfectly coded.
Will it be separated by genre with one asset per genre :
Third Person Shooters
First Person Shooters
cause there are so much functionalities covered that i start worrying
if this is not too much. Perhaps that’s simple stuff when you already done path and steer,
lot’s of of simple stuff.
Edit 1 :
Though i not sure unity will allow that it could be to much damage to other assets creator.
Your assets are too professional not sure what the end game is.

The Apex Utility AI is an API (foundation) and an editor in which to create and design AIs.
We will soon be releasing much more detail on how the AI works and how it differs from Finite State Machines and Behaviour Trees. There are multiple evolutionary steps of AI and this is the next step up from behaviour trees.

While the product itself is complete and ready for launch, we have unfortunately run into some technical issues related to the launch.

I was looking at the survival shooter toturials and documentations. But i cannot seem to find the Survuval Shooter project code where utility AI is implemented. Is is mentioned a few placs but nothing about where to get it.
